Walk the New Forest at Rockford Common

Walk the Northern Commons of the New Forest from the National Trust's Rockford Common car park. The Rockford sandpits are great fun to play on, and it is only a few minutes before you are up onto impressive vantage points looking back over Blashford Lakes and forward over the Northern Commons. There are plenty of walking options, from short circuits of the easy-to-navigate heathland, to venturing further into the hidden valleys and woodlands of the commons.
