Walk the Gwydir Forest, a stunning mountain forest at the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park known for its lead and zinc mining history, remnants of which can still be seen around the forest. From the car park at Hafna mines, a old lead mine, you can explore the forest trails and discover the rich mining heritage, learning what life was like for the miners by listening to an audio trail. You can also access the Marin mountain bike trails from here.
